Aikido is a Japanese martial art, developed from its jiu-jitsu roots in the 1920s. When we practise aikido, we learn to use an attacker’s force and momentum against them to safely neutralise their attack. The Shodokan style of aikido is practised in clubs all around the world, and includes competition elements when we can test our techniques against a committed attacker.

Shodokan Invicta Aikido Club runs classes in Tunbridge Wells. We welcome teens and adults of all ages and levels of fitness. Come along and give it a try – your first class is free!
